The Guardian Angel of Brand™
Cupid Hayes has spent her career studying how people, stories and experiences are perceived.
An award-winning Hollywood casting director and SAG-AFTRA actress, Cupid has also produced and directed, served as a television, cable and OTT distribution executive, and spent more than 20 years in hospitality.
Each gave her a different view of the same question:
Who will the audience believe you are?
Casting taught her how quickly an impression is formed. Acting put her on the other side of that judgment. Distribution showed her what happens when story meets the marketplace. Hospitality showed her what happens when expectation meets experience.
Those lessons shaped the way Cupid leads Arrow Advising today: see what is really there, understand how it is being perceived, and make sure the two belong together.
“I live for the moment the arrow strikes, I hold up the mirror, and you say, ‘Yes. That’s who I am. I love it.’ The world is richer when we have the courage to be our authentic selves. Aim for authenticity.™
Arrow Advising was built on a simple belief: you should know who you are before someone else decides for you.
That applies to a person, a business, a community, and everything they put out into the world.
Our job is to see what is there, ask the questions others may not ask, and help you make decisions that remain true to it as you move forward.
A brand carries the vision, skill and history behind it. How it is defined shapes how you are understood today, and honors what will be inherited tomorrow.
We take the time to understand what is there before deciding what comes next; because decisions made in the name of growth, relevance or visibility still need to belong to you.
Arrow Advising was born from Hollywood, where identity, image, story and audience perception can change everything. That eye still leads our work.
Our perspective is shaped by people with more than 100 years of combined experience across design, entertainment, technology, journalism, public relations, marketing and operations. Some are part of Arrow Advising. Others are trusted partners we call on when they’re needed.
Different backgrounds give us different ways of seeing what is right in front of us.
